Great chapter of the Lost Lands series (you can easily play them in whatever order you want) and also one of the best HOGs on Steam. Lots of minigames and puzzles, the hidden object scenes are interesting because you have to find tools in a specific order and solve minipuzzles to complete them and find the final object needed to continue the story. The game in general is very well detailed with several different scenarios, there's also an extra chapter with some backstory and a nice bonus game unlockable finishing the main story.. Excellent Hidden Object game that held my interest throughout. Finished it in 2 sittings, puzzles are relatively easy but the story is interesting and the graphics and voice acting are better than average.4/4 horsemen would play again.. Ever wonder what would happen if lord of the rings turned into a hidden object game? This game reminds me a lot of the lord of the rings movie before the nasty ring took over. You have the wizard who could look like gandalf. You have the dwarf gimli. Then you have the hobbits here they are called the halflings. You also later run into some bad guys on horses. I should mention you also meet a werewolf. So their is that connection. The graphics and sound are very good.The heroine who you play looks a great deal like sarah palin. I am not sure if thats deliberate or the guy may just be a fan of hers. The glasses and hair really look like hers a lot. A very interesting game as it does contain pages of the lore of the story that you find along the way. I really like how these games are made. Artifax could use some of these game mechanics. The best part is the extra goodies your supposed to find are labled on the map to make it a lot easier to find them. Arti needs to put this idea into their game maps as its next to impossible to find all of their special objects.A very fun and good time for HOG fans like me. Pick this up if your fan of Lord of the rings like me.. Great game and so much fun!!. love the map icons and directions. the graphics are good.. its fun and it keeps your intrest...well driven.. Puzzles, hidden objects, and sometimes puzzles within HO scenes.Collectibles to find, and those aren't especially easy either.The art is lovely.Your character has to be one of the most stoic women ever. One minute she's bringing groceries home, the next she's following the advice of a Merlin-type and traipsing across totally foreign - and changing - landscapes. With a steely gleam in her narrowed eyes (framed by boardroom-ready glasses), she unflinchingly and uncomplainingly does it all.Seriously though, an excellent game for the keen HOG-puzzler-adventure enthusiast. 9.5 or maybe even 10/10.PS You're allowed to KEEP and RE-USE useful items, which is a huge plus in my book! Always wondered why they tossed them away in other games, tbh.
