It's worth noting that multiplayer mode doesn't have any continues, so it's not a great couch co-op experience unless everybody playing is extremely good.. If you like oldschool shooting gallery games, get this game.If you like kickass action and soundtracks, get this game.If you don't like any of them, get this game anyways cuz it'll change your mind~. Brilliant game! Great throwback!. There are some serious flaws with this game although it can be fun:1) Multiplayer is unplayable in that you share lives and there are no continues.2) This game should save your progress given how I struggled to beat the 1st level even on easy and have difficulty with the 2nd one (level select). I don't want to turn off the game and then have to redo the first level.3) Continues should let you start at the last segment of the level rather than redo the entire level.4) Refill my bombs after I finish the level. If even easy mode had these things, I'd recommend it so easily, pun intended.5) Perhaps allow a mouse option for aiming/shooting and keys to move. With this on Steam, that would've been an ideal control setup so I can move my cursor to aim while dodging bullets, and then return fire.With that out of the way, I enjoyed playing this shooting gallery and it's a nice, modern day challenge that makes even getting to a certain part of the level the first time on any difficulty level an accomplishment.I like how the characters are, Clint/Annie are your balanced characters, Bullet is a dog/robot that lets you lock on and have agility, and Doris is your big demolitions woman, who is slow but her lightning attack can stop bullets and drop down faster. She uses charge type grenades but can't use the weapons the others have, though sometimes there's an auto charge upgrade. The fact Doris' lightning attacks makes her queen of close combat and has a beautiful character plus-size model is pretty rare. You can also paralyze enemies by rapidly tapping to fire but it's difficult to use when you are barraged and need to dodge (thankfully you can roll to cancel out of your shooting animation, and bombs help you be invincible for a few frames), so I'd only recommend it vs elusive enemies. My recommendation just became stronger in that you can stun bosses with this while you are in the invincible frames of using your bomb. Made this recommendation so much stronger as learning this showed I improved greatly in the game and am beating levels.The game also wows me with whatever arrives next and really tests my reflexes. All in all, try it out on sale and have realistic expectations unless you really like difficult games or need good multiplayer. I do recommend it for the character diversity.. Apart from the issue of kaspersky flagging it up as a Trojan, which is a false positive. the Game is fantastic, old school retro goodness with some very decent content updates and stuff that was orignally invisioned for the snes version but never made it due to hardware constraints. Tough as nails old school vibes to the max, could not relaly ask for mor. Also supports up to 4k resoluitions. Yes it's an old sprite based game but at least it looks good at your native res for what it is,. The definitive version of one of the best games from the SNES.. I hadn't heard of the arcade game, but I saw some YouTubers playing this and thought it looked cool, so I picked it up on sale one day. All I can say was that this game is just as fun to play as it is to watch! This is one of those games I like to put on when people are over, because the local multiplayer is fun, and even if they're not really into gaming, it's fun to watch! Give this one a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. :)(Note: I would highly recommend playing this with a controller.).
